Few names are as synonymous with quality in the world of surfboard building as Ken White. For decades, White has created boards recognized globally for their form and functionality under his personal label, White Surfboards. While White has gained popularity in the NE Florida surf scene, he has also made a name for himself abroad following multiple Shape Off wins. White blends his good ol’ fashioned work ethic in the bay with a love for the art form of surfboard shaping to create one-of-a-kind pieces. “Making a surfboard is just like painting a picture or anything like that,” said White. “It’s an art, but it’s a job. It’s something that everyone who makes surfboards loves…making surfboards.” We’re glad that White loves making surfboards, because we sure do love riding them.
