    Surf Report comments:
7:20 am: Another very chilly start to the day!  The wave  size early looks 1 to occasionally up to 2 feet.     The wind is light WSW early this morning allowing for glassy surface conditions and very good form .   On our local buoy the early wave height reading is 3.0 feet at 10 seconds down in size from yesterdays  7.5 feet at 7 seconds .      The marine forecast is calling for offshore winds today.   The water temperature is measured at 63.5 degrees at The Pier this morning.   See the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.
8:25 am:   There are 40 early morning photos are up in and you can see it’s way cleaner than yesterday.     Smaller overall, with some knee high to thigh high glassy waves sliding through.  It’s breaking both left and right with angle of the swell ENE so the lefts are a little longer. The surfers in the photos were having a hard time catching the waves as the higher tide has it sorta fat with the waves backing off the middle bar and breaking closer to the beach than expected.   Will outgoing tide make it shallower on the middle bar and help the surf?  We will see…
