    Surf Report comments:
7:15 am:   Very very small to tiny surf early on this Thursday morning.  Wave size Flat to 1/2 a foot. The surface conditions are glassy. The wind is W early @ 9-13 knots with the marine forecast calling for the offshore west winds continuing.   Checking out local buoy  the ealry wave height measurement is 3.0 feet at 3 seconds changed from yesterdays 2.3 feet at 4 seconds. See the water temperature of 66 degrees at The Pier this morning. And you can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

7:55 am:  Early morning photos are up and posted and you can see it’s so small we are cracking out the word ‘tiny‘ in our description.   Hey but the buoy is up in size over yesterday, so why is the surf down?  Well did you see the direction of the swell?   Those 3.0 foot waves are going west, out and away.  Waves going the other way are not helping but hurting the size along the beach.  The good news is its glassy and looks so be a nice day at the beach.
