    Surf Report comments:
7:10 am: Small surf starts out the day.     The waves are 1/2 a foot to 1 foot.   It’s semi-choppy to choppy with the wind N/NE and increasing quite a bit early this morning.  This will increase the surf.      Our local buoy the early wave height reading is 2.3 feet at 5 seconds changed downward slightly from yesterdays 2.6 feet at 5 seconds.     The marine forecast is calling for dramatically increasing NE winds today.  The water temperature is measured at 60.4 degrees at The Pier this morning.   See the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

7:35 am:   Early morning photos are up in box #1 and you can see the chop in the ocean as the wind picks up.  .    Small overall but there are some knee high to maybe thigh high peaks with a cross shore increasing N to NNE wind  Dean is calling for an increase today and yes it looks like it will happen.   Looking up the coast, the Gray’s Reef Buoy is showing more wind pointing this way.   The next report will liley show larger waves when we report….
