    Surf Report comments:
7:00 am: Super small surf again on this Monday morning.   The waves look slightly bigger than yesterday.   Wave size 1/2 a foot to 1 foot.   It;s glassy with a real light west wind.  Our local buoy the early wave height reading is 2.0 feet at 7 seconds changed from yesterdays 2.3 feet at 12 seconds.     The marine forecast is calling for light SE winds today.  The water temperature is measured at 58.5 degrees at The Pier this morning.   See the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

8:45 am;   ok… some of you may be wondering why no dawn patrol photos.   Well, for the 1st time in years and years BOTH my cameras are broken in one way or another.  It happens.  Yes crazy stuff in life happens and the stars can line up for you, or against you at times.    Now, with that said I was able to improvise and take photos and video with my IPhone so there are dawn patrol photos posted here and here.     The waves are real small, knee high or so on sets.    It’s glassy with good form and yes it is ridable, just small and weak overall.   A beautiful day setting up.

I’m working on getting at least one of the cameras working again so look for new photos at some point today.    Grom reporter River will be doing the mid day to afternoon report, and i think his camera is working….
